Beautiful villages

featured as one of Les Plus Beaux Villages De France. Noyers has wonderful half timbered 15th Century buildings – no wonder there is always a film crew in town! There are several very good shops and restaurants.

Montréal is located in a beautiful setting overlooking the valley of the Serein, the village was founded in the late ninth century manor is set up in the eleventh century. It is dominated today by the beautiful collegiate church of Notre Dame de l’Assomption.

Flavigny-sur-Ozerain is the home to the aniseed ball and was the setting of the film Chocolat, and Semur-en-Auxois a delightful fortified town standing on a platform of pink granite.
