It’s perfect for artists or photographers! In Autumn, the Virginia Creeper around Le Petit Village turns a fiery orange and the surrounding forests are a riot of colour. The landscape is beautiful; infact it’s one of our favourite times of the year, with cool mornings and warm, autumn sun days. The wine harvest begins throughout Burgundy and in Chablis, the annual wine festival is the last weekend in October. It’s mushroom season too, and you can go rambling in the woods to pick them, if of course you know what to look for! We can arrange a truffle hunt in the forests with an expert and his dog or in the beautiful medieval village of Noyers sur Serein there is a truffle festival in the last weekends of October and November.
